Tips Before You Eat at Bali Airport

  • The airport has diverse food options. Walk further than the initial area. You may find more food options and a nicer vibe.
  • Airport dining is generally more expensive than outside. So, be prepared for higher prices.
  • Give yourself extra time. Getting around Bali Airport can take a while, especially if you need to use the bus to get to the arrivals hall.
  • Try to avoid peak meal times (11 AM to 2 PM). Queues can get long, especially before flights.
  • Many local dishes are halal-friendly. But some menus include pork. It’s best to check before ordering.
  • Spice levels vary. You can always ask the staff to make it milder.
  • Most airport outlets accept cards. It’s good to keep some cash (Indonesian Rupiah) for small purchases at small eateries or as a backup.
  • If you have dietary preferences, research the airport’s dining options.

Before leaving Bali, be sure to experience the island’s most acclaimed fine dining restaurant — Apéritif Restaurant. This luxurious venue offers a sophisticated degustation menu with a unique ‘Borderless’ concept, blending European culinary techniques with Indonesian flavours.
