Ubud, 20 May 2021Ubud’s most popular fine dining restaurant, Apéritif proudly presents their debut collaboration in Surabaya at Uppercut Steakhouse by JW Marriott Surabaya. The event will be held for two weeks, from 1 to 13 June 2021.  The award-winning restaurant which was crowned Indonesia’s Best Restaurant by the World Culinary Awards 2020 will be led by Executive Chef Nic Vanderbeeken accompanied by Apéritif’s talented Maître d’Hôtel & Chef Sommelier Jean-Benoit Issele.

This event is divided in three, with lunch served on Wednesday until Saturday, 2-5 June and 9-12 June where guests can enjoy a 5-course menu priced at IDR 650.000++. Brunch will be served on Sundays, 6 and 13 June priced at IDR 695.000++ for 5 courses, whilst dinner will consist of Apéritif’s classic 8-course menu every day from Wednesday to Sunday, 2-6 June and 9-13 June priced at IDR 1.095.000++. For those seeking a more private dining experience, there will be an Intimate Chef’s Table on Wednesday 2 and 9 June along with Chef Take Home on Tuesday, 1 and 8 June. Each menu will bring together the flavours of modern gastronomy, alongside lesser-known Indonesian ingredients to showcase Apéritif’s eclectic fine-dining offering.

Signature dishes including the Venison Wellington, which marries the succulent game meat with Indonesia’s unmistakable rendang dish in a buttery pastry crust with a decadent centre that reveals a portion of foie gras, will feature on the menus. With current travel restrictions in place, this restaurant takeover provides the perfect opportunity for fine-dining lovers to experience Indonesia’s Best Restaurant in Surabaya.
